Join this discussion on the ethics of public engagement and artistic intervention in communities. The critical influence that the ‘open brief’ developed by Artist Placement Group has had on social practice today. Facilitated by Gilane Tawadros Chief Executive at DACS and Vice-Chair of the Stuart Hall Foundation and with the artists Barby Asante and Barbara Steveni, recipient of ART360 and Emily Druiff CEO and Artistic Director at Peckham Platform.

Followed by a conversation to reimagine a ‘future curricula’, facilitated by John McMahon Heritage Lottery Fund’s national Policy Adviser for Learning and Volunteering the artists Barby Asante and Barbara Steveni, students from Charter School, Sophie Leech is editor of NSEAD magazine and Generation ART and co-founder of Charter School, Fiona Lucas Intervention at Charter School, formerly William Penn School original participating school in SERP.
